Getting started

Who is the audit for?

UK mortgage brokerages, mortgage networks, independent brokers and property or financial services firms with an established service and website. The audit is particularly useful when you want to understand your visibility for a main location or specialist client group.

Do you work with businesses outside Sussex?

Yes. I’m based in Brighton and work remotely with mortgage and property firms across the UK. The audit is tailored to the location and services agreed at the start.

What does one audit cover?

One brand, one primary domain and one main trading location. Foundation includes 25 client-intent questions and 3 competitors. Growth expands this to 50 questions and 5 competitors. Both include a review presentation; Growth also includes a 30-day follow-up call.

How long does delivery take?

Foundation takes 7 working days and Growth 10 working days, starting when you approve the question set and the deposit is received. If required inputs are delayed, the delivery date moves back by the same number of days.

What do you need from me?

Your main location and service areas, approval of the question set, the 3–5 competitors you consider your rivals, Google Business Profile access or confirmation of who manages it, and a named person for questions. Access arrangements are agreed securely; do not email passwords or client financial information.

02

Prices and payment

What does the audit cost?

Standard rates are £1,250 for Foundation and £2,500 for Growth. The founding client offer is £695 for Foundation and £1,295 for Growth, subject to the availability and conditions below. The total fee is confirmed before you commit.

What are the founding client terms?

The founding rates apply to the first 3 audits booked before 30 September 2026, in exchange for permission to use agreed anonymised findings and a short, honest testimonial. Availability and the material that may be shared are confirmed with you before booking. Standard pricing applies after the offer ends. Please ask me to confirm availability before booking.

How do I pay?

An invoice is issued on booking: 50% to book and 50% before the presentation call, paid by bank transfer. There is no payment collection on this website. Scope and total fee are agreed before you commit.

The method and what the numbers mean

Which AI systems are included?

The core set is ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Overviews. Coverage is reviewed for each audit and confirmed before work starts. Not every question triggers an AI Overview, and some responses may be unavailable to capture.

How are the questions chosen?

Questions are based on your actual services, local market and client situations. Branded questions are separated from the commercial questions someone would ask without knowing your name. You approve the question set before the audit is run.

What is the difference between branded and commercial visibility?

A branded question names your firm, such as “What does Example Mortgages specialise in?”. A commercial question asks for help choosing, such as “Which mortgage broker helps self-employed buyers in Brighton?”. They are reported separately because being found by someone who knows your name is different from being introduced to a new prospect.

What does the scorecard measure?

The current numerical baseline is citation-based: it counts captured links to your business, not every unlinked mention of your name. Results are reported per system rather than combined into one universal score. Captured answer text provides context, and the report states which questions produced usable data. This is a directional benchmark for prioritisation, not a forecast of enquiries.

Do you repeat every question multiple times?

The current baseline uses a single run per question per system under recorded conditions. Repeated-run measurement is not promised as part of the standard audit. Any later remeasurement is a separate agreed scope, including quarterly reviews within an ongoing partnership.

What happens when an answer cannot be captured?

Unavailable or incomplete captures are marked as such and disclosed in the report. They are not treated as proof that your business was absent. Google AI Overviews may not appear for a question, and capture coverage can vary. Comparisons must account for this before any conclusion is drawn.

Can’t I just ask ChatGPT myself?

Yes. It is a useful first look. The audit adds an agreed question set across five systems, consistent competitor comparisons, source records, coverage limits and prioritised next steps. One isolated answer does not provide that context.

What if my firm is already visible?

The audit can document that and identify where coverage differs by system, location or client intent. It may show that the right next step is a small improvement or continued measurement rather than a large project. No predetermined visibility gap is assumed.

After the audit

Can Ella make the changes for us?

Yes, through a separately scoped Growth Sprint or ongoing partnership. A Growth Sprint is a focused 30-day implementation project built around the audit priorities. Ongoing support gives you an independent digital lead for priorities, delivery and quarterly visibility reviews. You can also take the plan to your existing team.

What is excluded from the audit price?

Writing or publishing website pages, implementing schema or website changes, outreach, PR placement and link building are not included. The audit does not guarantee rankings, placement or leads. Implementation and reruns are separate engagements unless explicitly included in your agreed ongoing scope.

Does Growth include compliance sign-off?

No. The marketing and content risk review flags potential issues in visibility-facing content for your compliance function or network to assess. It is not legal or compliance advice and does not replace your firm’s own sign-off.

Does AI visibility replace SEO?

No. Useful content, crawlable pages, clear business information and sound SEO remain foundations. AI visibility adds a view of how the business and its sources appear inside generated answers. Schema or an llms.txt file does not guarantee that an AI system will recommend you.

Will this guarantee more enquiries?

No. The audit supplies evidence and priorities. An AI citation is not the same as a click, an enquiry or a client. Any implementation should be assessed alongside business outcomes, including qualified enquiries, while acknowledging the limits of attribution.
